About the Album
Shyam Pyare aptly captures the essence of a yearning heart of a devotee, pining for the divine union. A soulful rendition composed and vocalized by revered Master Anandmurti Gurumaa beautifully poetizes the state of a devout, imploring Sri Krishna never to leave and keeping his lover mesmerized with the soul-stirring flute- played through the day up till night. In loveful eloquence, a devotee speaks of breaking dawn and how that brings along the lord's remembrance with it. Despite being engrossed in day-to-day chores, it's Krishna who dwells in every thought. In a prayerful expression, the lover beseeches the lord to stay close and never leave the sight. Sitting by the banks of Yamuna, a devotee gets swamped by thoughts of Krishna. Overwhelmed by the pangs of separation, the lover keeps drowning in emotions, seeking nothing but the union with the divine. For such a devout, the world loses its essence and is no longer cherished. Singing of his glories, a devotee remains perpetually absorbed in the lord's remembrance, pining for his grace and presence. Sing along and rejoice in this beautiful musical offering poetically expressing the ineffable yearnings for the sublime- for once the seeds of love sprout, they soon sprawl through a devotee's heart, permeating it with divine.
