Urja meditation, also known as dynamic meditation, is based on ancient methodology of breathing techniques called bhastrika pranayama and ujjayi pranayama which involve strong and forceful breathing. This process brings about a catharsis which cleanses the inner recesses of the mind, providing stress relief – and then mindfulness becomes easy. This technique can give excellent results when done with conviction. As such mind is always restless, always in a state of flux. It is difficult to sit silently, difficult to be in a relaxed state of mind. But with persistent practice of this method you will glide into a state wherein the mind will be totally at peace, relaxed and energised. This is a guided meditation wherein Sadgurudev Anandmurti Gurumaa gives step-by-step instructions to follow.
