Life is a drama, know it…!
Q : I am an army officer. My question is, being in organization like army, sometimes you tend to come in conflict with association of officers which you feel is wrong, but you have to implement the orders. You feel disgusted and helpless. It pains from inside and I feel hurt. What to do?
A : Well, Manish if you were in, say a film company, and you were supposed to play bad character, what would you feel at that time? Well if you are an actor and you get a challenging role of a villain, you love playing that character. Sometimes this is how you have to live your life. See the whole world as drama, and role which you will be playing is written by someone else, you are not the writer. Only yogi can be writer of one’s destiny. Other than yogi everyone else is being pulled or pushed by someone’s script. If the scripting is bad, the dialogues given are bad and work given to the character is bad, what would a character do? What would an actor do? Actor is still going to go ahead and do it. So you need to little bit isolate your work and your being. I am not saying that you should go against your conscious or conscience but the question is, are you ready to sacrifice your job, so that you don’t do something which is unethical or immoral. Please pay attention to your preferences and when you are employed by government or by some private institution, you have play by their rules and if you don’t want to play with their rules then may be you have to think about what you are doing at the present moment.
