This is one album of Gurumaaji which grows on you as you listen to it each day. It’s a tough job to do justice to this album, which is more profound than words can describe.
‘Ni main jaana Sain de naal’ depicts the journey of a seeker whose heart echoes with love for the Divine and is determined to reach the Beloved ‘Aaj Shoonya Hai’strikes the deepest core of the mind and gives the listener a taste of an imaginable experience of silence. ‘Jeevan Da Mainu’ is again another song of undescribable joy of one who has finally found the treasure of truth. In her ecstasy she describes her experience of the greatest joy of life when the Emperor of all emperors made an entry into her heart!
‘Farsh se lekar Arsh tak’ is a song full of wisdom which talks of the light of the Lord in every particle of the universe and advises a seeker to remain unentangled in an intransient world!
‘Main Neho Tere Naal’ is another lovely song which describes how a Guru leads a disciple towards the Almighty , how a disciple bows down in utter surrender and becomes one with the Divine.
‘Alif Allah’, as one listens to it, paints a picture of gentle winds blowing at dusk and lamps lit up for seekers who seek truth, not just religious dogma. What more is needed to bow down in worship?
