This program Shakti provides help to the girls who had lost there father, or is the daughter of any martyr or the daughter of handicapped parents. Under this program a help regarding free studies will be provided and all type of education should be given to the girl child in spite of getting her married in an early age. We should also give a chance to them to see the world and to live.

We should not forget that our world is basically incomplete without girls. We should try to save then and educate them.
In the end I would like to say:-
“Girls are not Emails,
Do not delete them.”

A girl who is not yet born and is as innocent and sincere like a flower cannot even think that her own mother through which she is going to come on this planet would kill her like an enemy. How can a mother who is just equal to the creator i.e. God, can perform such a cruel job about which a girl cannot think of. But due to such mishappenings the sex ratio of girls as compared to boys is declining day by day. Mother under the pressure of her in-laws performs such an unwished task. It can lead to serious consequences in the near future because ultimately not even a single girl would be there to marry a boy and hence imbalance would be created in the society.

I am Girl, I am “The Shakti” today I am going to introduce myself to you. First of all Thanks to my parents who gave me opportunity to survive in this world. That’s why I m here to tell you about myself. If I was not there how could I express my feeling of being a girl! Firstly, when I hadn’t met Gurumaa, I was not aware of all this. But now all I could say is, it feels very proud to be a girl. Today on 25th June, I saw a slide on Shakti. After seeing that slide, I could now, pour out all my thoughts.

India, a country known for its rich heritage, a country known to be a country of god and goddess, country which itself is called as Mother India, a country where Durga, Laksmi, Kali are worshipped, a country where Rani Laxmibai, Madalsa, Meera were born. It’s so unfortunate of us, that today in such a great country a need has raised to save girl child. People worship Vaishno Mata for success, but at the same time kill girl child before she is born, just because they need a boy. A boy who will carry forward there name, a boy who will get them liberated from the world, a boy will bring a bride with lots of dowry. In so called educated and respectful society, still a girl is not given a opportunity to study. She is not given enough opportunity to grow, considered as a “Paraya Dhan”. But will anybody ask from so called educated people were that your son who left you in old age homes, the one who sued you just to take your property.

Girls are not inferior in any manner they are very strong and reliable. There should be no comparison b/w boys and girls. Both are good but this negligible attitude should be changed in regard to the birth of a girl child.
A girl is the sign of goddess, angels, Fairies and prosperity. Those all things are precious and relished with love. In the same way a girl don’t want sympathy, she needs your love.

I also think “ONLY WOMEN CAN HELP THEMSELVES”. If they understand the importance of a girl child and become firm on their decisions against female-feticide, drastic changes can be observed.

According to our great ancestors, our Vedas our Bhagwat Gita, our Ramayana and Mahabharta the woman has been given great status and respect. But now days the female child has been discarded in favour of the male child, just because some stupid morons believe that only a male child can forward the family class and the family business. It is a very stupid belief of the people who say that a male is more powerful than a female. The correct thing is that a female is equal to the male in all respects.
“A female is the creator of the world.” A female is the only one who has empowered by god to give birth to a new individual.

The reason behind such bad attitude towards girls to my mind is a PUZZLE. The answer to which I could not logical derive but I felt dismal that certain section of our society consider boy to carry forward the family lineage. They consider boy to carry on the ceremony of father’s funeral. They are needed to earn livelihood as young boys can start working at early age. They are considered as the help in old age.
However the situation is reverse these days. It is the son who caught morphing nude pictures, involved in drug trafficking and other immoral activities which ruins family name.

I am really happy to know that Gurumaa has taken care of such an important but pitiable state of our country. I simply don’t understand that when our country is growing in such a high speed then why is there this low level thinking. There should be absolutely no difference between boys and girls. All these practices were there in our country but why even now? On one side India is thinking of making a city like Bombay like shanghai and the other side discrimination between boys and girls? We need to educate the public that girls are as important to the country as boys. They can work equally hard and why such words used, as they are LIABILITIES. We can see girls being such big BUSINESS WOMEN in our own country.

Through “SHAKTI”, Gurumaa has brought forward the ill suffering done to the girl child. It has uncovered a whole horrifying view of our modern society who still are being orthodox. The sevaks(disciples) of the ashram had visited these regions of India and made them aware about the importance of empowerment of girl child and the importance of education that has to be given to them as it is well said by Lokmanya Tilak, “women educated, then the whole generation of her family is educated.” Women act as the backbone of the family.
