Women: Icon of Surrender
Answering to the question “that the divine women Mystics like ‘Madalsa, Gargi and Maitreyi’ did not carry forward the tradition of “master disciple relationship”, Gurumaa explains that” people are not ready to accept the truth that a women too can be a mystic”. For such people, women are not eligible even for salvation. What they fail to understand is the fact that the very Indian sage worshiped the highest knowledge ‘Gyana’ by calling it Goddess ‘Saraswati’: the Goddess of knowledge, music and creative art. The fact is flawlessly portrayed in an example where women like Gargi are insulted in the whole assembly. Seeing such hostile conditions neither did women mystics ever try to fight for place, position, status or honor nor did they wish to attain even trivial ego required to carry on the Master disciple relationship. Women are born with traits like surrender and therefore, it’s very easy for them to reach great heights in spirituality. However, there are some traits that differentiate them from men. Watch the striking video that unfolds the traits of both men and women that will help you reach great heights in spirituality.
