That’s how the auspicious advent day of Anadmurti Gurumaa on 8th April was celebrated this year! It began with the entrancing musical track adoring our revered and compassionate Sadguru accompanied by beautiful fireworks, fun & frolics. After grooving on the music, the enthralling performances by the renowned dance troupe of Sri Lanka, Budawatta, set the wheels in motion. Elegant beauties holding lamps entered the stage to present a mesmerizing dance. Next was the folk dance along with classical music portraying the rural part of Sri Lanka. Then we witnessed the spectacular depiction of low country dance illustrating the magnificence & elegance of low country culture in its glorious & glamorous costume. After watching the sensational moves, the elegant & graceful ‘peacock dance’ symbolizing peace, beauty & auspiciousness, made audience spell-bound. After that everybody had a belly laugh while watching the masked humorist, who livened up the whole atmosphere.

Dance performances on classical Tamil song expressing Radha’s affection towards Krishna and on famous Hindi song, truly cast a spell on the audience, filling their hearts with love & devotion. The magical rhythms of Surangana, a form of modern dance with contemporary style of music, were indeed like the cherry on the cake.

This exceptional celebration soaked with aesthetic beauty concluded with the thought-provoking message given by the Master that zest, zeal and ebullience is in man’s blood. Whether he belongs to any region, state or country, the man craves for happiness in all. He masks many emotions- laughter, anger, anguish, surprise- and plays many roles, but the inner witness to all these, remains unperturbed.
