How should a seeker approach an enlightened Master? Very often people go to a Guru to fulfill mundane desires like cure from a disease or begetting a child. This is very much like asking for a pebbles from an emperor who can give you a diamond!

Approach the Guru with only one prayer, the prayer of enlightenment!

If at all we wish to ask anything from the awakened one , we should seek nothing but guidance and grace so that we may light the lamp of divine knowledge within our hearts , so that we may become enlightened too.
