To sing or chant the Name of the Lord aloud is an exhilarating experience. The one who resides in the dwelling place (ayan) of the body of man (nar) is Narayan, the Lord Himself. The repititious chanting of the Name brings about an atmosphere of deep devotion and joy both within and without; fortunate is the one who, with the infinite grace of the Guru is inspired to sing this Name. Gurumaa’s mesmerising voice with its heartfelt calling to the Lord makes this kirtan a most memorable one.
