Makar Sankranti celebrations in Rishi Chaitanya Ashram Part 7 - Be a light unto yourself

This is the seventh video in the series of Makar Sankranti satsang 2010. The auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti was celebrated in Rishi Chaitanya Ashram on the 14th of January 2010 with a special satsang by Anandmurti Gurumaa. Sadhaks and devotees came for this festive event in huge numbers to have Darshan and blessings of the Master. This entire video has been divided into 7 parts. Each part encapsulates some important, thought-provoking points which Gurumaa brought up in the course of the satsang.

Once the light of wisdom blazes forth, it illuminates the darkest corners of the mind. This light is one that shines eternally; it can never be extinguished. Gurumaa further explained that neither marriage nor celibacy affects those who have attained the pinnacle of wisdom.

Two important things work in conjunction for inner knowledge to blossom – the shishya’s sankalpa, determined resolve and the grace of the Guru. Together, these cut through the bondage of the conditioned mind, enlightening it with the effulgence of Self.
