My legs tremble while doing yoga nidra?
Q : Whenever I take deep breath and do the reverse counting from 27 to 1 in Yoga Nidra, both of my legs tremble. I don’t know why? Sometimes I stop it with Sankalpa but I don’t know the reason for this uneasiness in my legs. I enjoy doing Dhyana but this uneasiness and trembling of legs disturbs me a lot. Please advice.
A : Pratibha, trembling of legs can be due to various reasons. One reason is the body itself. Second reason is your mind, which needs to be analyzed. For the first reason I would say that if your nervous system is not strong then there is a possibility of your body trembling while doing Yoga Nidra. You need to strengthen your nervous system and for that you need to follow Yogic Asana. To strengthen your immune system and nervous system jointly, you need to do Pranayam as well.
Body and mind are interrelated. If the body is not well then even the mind will feel the effects of the weak body and similarly if the mind is weak then the body will experience the effects of a weak mind. So both mind and body should be recovered from weakness into the state of health.
To make your body strong you need to do Yogic Asana and Pranayam. To make your mind strong you need wisdom and devotion to divinity. So combination of both the things will help you to experience the depth of Yoga Nidra.
