Break Free from Desires

When mind asks something and does not get, it will throw all the tantrums. And associating our self with the mind, we only put our self in great frustration. Even while on the path of spirituality, people seek samadhi, nirvana, want to learn asanas and acquire great powers. With this, Gurumaa explains that habit of mind remains the same and that we need to come out of this gambit of desires and expectations to free ourselves from pain and miseries. When we do not allow the identification of mind to rule, then the mind takes the course of contemplation and with wisdom, we are successfully able to maneuver our self out of the situation.
Life is simple and need not be made complicated. We need to accept the fact that everything else will change, that is the law, and no one can change this law. So, simply witness it. Do not be attached and put conditions. The river just flows, if we try to hold it, it will not remain fresh. Stagnant water cannot be fresh, would not be drinkable either. The body is too a flow, accept the change. There is no way we can drop out. You have to face the turmoil, anguish, fear and slowly with wisdom, you will come out of it. Know to break this habit of wanting desires and expectations by watching this complete video.
