Intelligence as we understand today is related with achievements, accomplishments,innovations and discoveries made at physical and worldly level. A person who has devised a mobile phone or has written down a software program or has succeeded in a business endeavor is often considered to be intelligent. Gurumaaji therefore points out that if the idea of intelligence is superficial then creativity and intelligence are very different from one another. A poet is creative but might not be intelligent .At the same time great scientists like Einstein, Edison and others whose genius has given us the basics of today might not be necessarily creative.

Gurumaaji, while explaining the inner connection between creativity and real intelligence, marks out the lack of self awareness, lack of control on mind and its powers and lack of mind equipoise is very much visible in the lives of these intelligent contributors of the world. She therefore says that the word intelligent is very relative. So to understand the undercurrent between creativity and intelligence, we must look at it from a more expansive stand point. Gurumaaji exemplifies that an individual with high level of consciousness will display a perfect harmony of intelligence and creativity and the evolution of this harmony happens to those who experience the involution with the infinite on a day to day basis.
