The film and advertising world is a so-called ‘glamorous’ fantasy world which titillates and assaults our senses, leaving us hankering for more. Gurumaa tells us that merely wearing designer clothes, branded merchandise and flaunting the latest gadgets does not make us a good human being. Many people emulate film stars and models; smoking, drinking and doing drugs is considered stylish, modern and “with it.” However, it is important to realise that temporary fame and fleeting pleasures cannot bring lasting contentment.

Once we visualise what we want for ourselves and have a firm resolve to fulfil our dreams, this creates our destiny. Our mind is very powerful and will sooner or later manifest what we ardently aspire for. Therefore, Gurumaa cautions us here that we should use this tool of mind wisely and well.
