Accepting life and death willingly
Life and death are two sides of the same coin. They are interconnected. Yet, we do not wish to accept the inevitable – that one day we too will die. We are strongly attached to life as we know it, not because we love life but because we have a deep fear of death, of being no more.
So in the name of religion, human beings bribe their gods and goddesses thinking that this investment will secure them a place in an illusory ‘heaven’. But can it really? Life and death are the natural order of things, and only willing acceptance of both can ensure true happiness.
