This book is a compilation of discourses delivered by Sadgurudev Anandmurti Gurumaa during Sufi retreats. Although the essence of Sufism's divine wine can't be framed in words, yet this book is a gesture to give the readers a glimpse of that which is indescribable. In November of 2003, Anandmurti Gurumaa travelled to Turkey. The purpose: to study firsthand the mystical rites of Sufism. Right from the start, the endeavour witnessed miracles. From the flight that was never expected to take off, but to everyone's surprise did; the near magical appearance of master players and teachers of the Ney; an unexpected invitation to attend Sema and to participate in Zikr - a Sufi meditative chanting, turned out to be an all-encompassing magical journey. In a country where she did not speak their language and only few locals spoke English, where she had no contacts, where the weather was biting cold and vegetarian food a rare find, Gurumaa was adventurous enough to enjoy it all. In the end they were witness even to the secretly conducted dance of 'the whirling dervishes'. This book takes you through the journey of Sufism with Anandmurti Gurumaa.
Those who would enjoy this book are suggested to listen to Rumi's poetry narrated with enchanting music in the album called 'Rumi - Love at its Zenith' and experience the reverberating Sufi chants & meditation in 'Zikr - Call of a Sufi' by Anandmurti Gurumaa.
