Rama is not only the name of Lord Rama, but also signifies the omnipresent, all pervading eternal conciousness, dwelling within every particle of this universe. ‘Rama Nama’ was sung with great love and devotion by devotees of ’saguna’ or Lord with form as well as ‘nirguna’ or the formless divine!
