Why anger, lust, greed, attachment and ego is bad?

Q : Namaste Gurumaaji! I’ve been following your satsang without fail and would like to be in Thy presence someday. Please remove my ignorance on the following matter which is: It is but natural that anger, lust, greed, attachment, ego is in mankind then why is it considered bad? As it is part of creation, how do we used it wisely or rather what do we do with it? Please enlighten me. Thank you, Love Maya (Singapore)

Dear Maya, nothing is bad or good. It is just how we use the faculty of our mind.

Let attachment be for self exploration, let greed be to know more, let ego be that I am ray of God. Learn to disassociate with mind and be free of it.

But this won’t happen by just listening. Some devices need to be learnt and used to come out of mind’s vicious circle.
