I am hearing a ringing noise in my mind. I have been told it might be tinnitus, could this be a side effect of meditation or chanting?

I am 32 years old and have cataract in both the eyes. Doctors say the only cure is the surgery. The cataract is in its early states (surgery if required, will be later). Can you guide me on if yoga/meditation/any other will help me cure it without surgery?

Can my daughter, who is just 8 years old, do yoga nidra (part 1)? Can she do it without asana and/or pranayama? I want her to do it as she is suffering from severe headache which occurs quite frequently. Doctor told us that it is migraine. Please let us know.
