I am slave of my own mind!

Q : My mind is always active. How to stop or control it? It's like; I am slave of my own mind and want to get rid of this. I am a manager in Oil Company and quiet well off but still something is missing. I don't know whether God exist or not. But we have seen enlightened Masters. Please explain this.

Number one, everyone is a slave of their own mind. Secondly, if you are asking how to get rid of this, I cannot tell you right away. For that you have to be with me for some time and then I can lay down the methodology by which you can slowly get rid of this mind.

This is not easy. I have seen people working for some time, for little time with me and then their own mind misleads them and they fall back into the trap of the mind, where they suffer more and more and more.

There are two types of people who suffer because of their own mind. Ones are those who don’t know that they are suffering. And second type of people are those who have heard a little bit from Master and know that they are suffering. But they don’t want to come out of it. They fall in trap of the mind and they suffer because of their own mind.

They are in a worse condition because the first category is very happily living in suffering life, there are no complaints. But then the second ones have heard about a state where you can be off all the evils and turmoil of mind but are still facing the turmoil of mind are in a worst condition.

You say I am quiet well off but sorry Ramesh you are not. You are such a poor man; you can’t even manage your own mind. Your mind is torturing you. How can you say that you are well off? Having a million or 10 million Rupees in your bank account doesn’t make you a rich. A person who has understanding of his mind and who manages his mind is the only person who can be called rich.

Else you are just a poor man. I have sympathies for you. If you really think and wish to come out of this, then you have to come to me. And be with me. It won’t happen in one day or one month but at least if you can be here when I am here for one month. I can give you something to work and then may be door opens for you.
