Answer
Very interesting question! The body, the mind, the intellect are all perishable. So this means all the knowledge, the wisdom which you gain, will be gained in the mind and intellect that are perishable. What is the sense then who wishes to attain liberation by doing Bhakti?
Definitely it is not the body where we acquire the knowledge. But yes it is the mind. Although the mind is perishable, there is a possibility to understand and experience the one who is imperishable. That is the beauty of our body, mind and intellect. The body is destructible. It will die. The mind too is perishable. But yet in this very mind there is a small window which opens up to the infinitum, to the truth.
Thus the truth will be gained through mind. Mind will come to a point where it takes one quantum leap jump and you are in truth. In one jump you move from perishable to nonperishable, from transcendental to above and rising and transcending all the boundaries.
