Negative thinking disturbes me!

Q : When I meditate or do any other routine job, negative thinking disturbs me a lot. Kindly help me to solve this problem.

Negative thinking is the result of all those negative impressions you have absorbed, which you have saved in your subconscious mind. You need to throw these negative emotions out of your subconscious mind and be free from them. But how can you do that? I would suggest a wonderful method of Yog Nidra.

But along with that you need to do many other things; one of them is chanting. I don’t know whom you believe in but who so ever your deity is, chant there name in low tone or do the humming of matra, do the ‘ajapa jaap’ and watch the breath along with that chant. Take your subconscious mind in tranquility

All these things will help you to come out of this problem. See, if it is smelly in your house, what you do? You clean up the place, clean up the room and spray some room freshener or use incense stick so that there is a wonderful fragrance in the air. Same thing applies to your mind. If your mind is giving some bad odor, it means there is lot of garbage in your mind and needs some spring-cleaning.
