Q : Why is it that we have to wait for an incarnation to get Karmic effects? Why don’t we face the effect right away so that learning from the deeds can be instant? Learning seems to be more efficient if it occurs simultaneously with our deeds. Why not learn our lessons right away?

Answer Well, it is a nice suggestion but I am sorry, I cannot change the phenomena and the fundamental principles of the Karmic law. The truth is that it is so easy to write down, "why don't we get the lesson right away?" You do wrong things in your life because you are fogged up in your head. Even if the lesson is right in front of you how can you learn this lesson when you are foggy in your head?
You committed wrong deeds because you were blind and your mind was dodged by illusions. After sometime when the turbidity in your mind settles down, this is the time when the fruits of your actions come to you and that is the time when you learn your lesson.
It is very easy to say why can't we get lessons right away? Babli, if the nature will give you lesson right away you will die instantly. You can not bear the pressure and the burden of getting all the fruits of all your actions right away. It is good that there is some postponement in between and it gives you time to prepare for your that stage when the fruit appear in front of you, you have that capacity, that patience, that tolerance, that clarity of mind to understand what it is, how it is, why it is.
Then all these times, the ugly times breeze out and you are able to see, witness whole drama of the Karmic forces materializing these various effects in our life. It is complex but it can definitely simplified by our attentiveness by being aware, by being tolerant and I believe if you can understand the law of Karma in your life then you can never ever get angry with any one. Even with those who hurt you because may be they are settling some past scores with you.
So it is better they are nullified your account and now there is nothing left to settle with them in future. So this right away learning is not possible because of the wrong state of mind.
