I feel fearful when I meditating…
Q : Though I can't do meditation regularly as I am trying to understand my illness and to certain level I realized that I have horrible panic attacks. Yesterday when I closed my eyes I felt a strange urge to shut my eyes tightly all the more as I was going deeper and deeper. Please guide me as what should I do when I fear delving into an unknown experience, but at the same time I feel the urge to completely let go and flow in the flow. Please help me. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

Answer
Dear Vaishali, to overcome your fear, you have to know that when you are moving in the meditation, nothing wrong can come to you, no harm can touch you. You are sitting in the lap of God and God is the dear protector thus, we survive through everything, even the most horrible situations of our lives don’t stand a chance in front of the All Mighty Protector. If you have the faith and love for God then all these difficult times would just come and one day would be blown off, so, there’s nothing to worry.
I suggest that you need to understand the reason of your being scared and the root cause of your fear. I suggest you to practice Yog Nidra to understand the roots of your fear. You can get Yog Nidra through my website or you can get it from the nearest centre. Practice the Yog Nidra and definitely, soon you would be able to encounter your fears, your fears, you would be able to come out of the fears for sure.
