Is it possible to just watch the play of life and not indulge?
Q : In the Vast Flow of life, is this body-mind mechanism capable of doing anything outside of the flow? Phenomena happen independent of the mechanism. Neither 'doing, nor 'not doing' can stop the 'happening' - one's sense of helplessness too included - from happening and that becoming a cause of another 'happening' as an effect to follow...? Nothing else seems possible but to watch, enjoy or cry over the Play!!!...

Answer Well, you have very rightly written in the end, but to watch, enjoy or to cry over the play and the ‘play’ word came with the capital ‘P’. So just remember that it does not make any difference whether someone is dying, or you are losing someone or some thing. It is just a play. So the best thing would be to just watch it. Do not cry over it & do not enjoy it.
Because when you will enjoy it, the play will not be stuck at one point, the play scenes are going to change & may be something would come which will offend you, your mind, your hopes, your desires and then you will have to cry. The one who cries has to laugh & the one who laughs has to cry.
That is how the dualism is working in human life. If you do not wish to be a party to it then there is a third option; and that option is be a witness, be a watcher and enjoy the game. Not enjoy the game, but enjoy yourself as a witness and just watch the game. And let the happening & non happening phenomena come & go as they wish to.
Let the flow go on; do not try to stop the flow. You cannot; and do not try to bring obstructions in the flow, you cannot. The flow of nature is much more powerful than your pretty mind and small hands. Why fight? Just float, do not swim.
