Doing pranayama, but no effect on health!
Q : For last 2 years with dedication, I am practicing Bhasrika, Kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom, Bhramari in morning & evening. I am doing dhayan for 30 minutes everyday and doing Yog Nidra which is progressing very well. I suffer from arthritis for last 20 years. My Pranayam have no effect on my health. Please advice where I am going wrong.

Vimla, again you are just going wrong by learning it on T.V and there are some teachers who claim that if you do as you have written this-this Pranayam for this number of time then your such and such disease will go away.
Well, they don’t know what they are speaking. People like you believing in those wrong words, create a misconception to cure your arthritis. If you are really suffering then it is not important what you do but it is how you do. May be for 15 minutes doing Bhastrika and Kapalbhati for 30 minutes and also Anulom Vilom, my god, and still you say that I am suffering from arthritis.
You are definitely doing it wrong. And from whom so ever you are learning it, is a wrong teacher, is a false teacher. You people follow the trends. These days this is a trend which people follow. Sometimes there is suddenly a fashion of one Guru and then everyone follows that Guru. Then there is a fashion on new Guru, everyone follows that Guru.
So you keep on changing your Gurus but you never change yourself. You never bring that sincerity, never bring that dedication, you never bring that closeness, you never bring that passion in your learning. That’s how you waste your time. And I am sorry to say that there are hundreds and thousands of teachers who claim to be Yoga Guru but they don’t know a thing about Yoga.
So you will have to find the right person and learn it correctly. I have seen scores of people who are cured by Yoga but when they did it correctly.
