Q : Despite of having all the worldly things which a middle class parent can provide I am not happy. I have tried all the possible ways to make myself happy and satisfied but I can't be happy and greed is on. I consider myself as a non-adjusting girl who wants to live everything. I can't answer my own questions. Kindly help me out Maa.

Answer Harpreet, look! Look at your mind and see all the mess which you have created. This mess is the child of your ignorance. We all wish to have the good things but we have to work to have them in our lives. But the most important thing is that these good things will not give you the good feelings. You might have the best things of the world and yet you might feel ugly, sad, dejected, frustrated, exhausted, depressed and might have all the feelings that don't make you happy.
What can make you feel good is the goodness, as in being good will make you feel great. Have you ever seen the little children playing in a ground, they fall, they jump, they giggle, they run around. They fall down, they play silly games and they are the happiest people on this Earth, Why? They don't have expensive things, then what gives them their happiness. What makes them laugh? It’s definitely not the things that make them merry. Then what is it?
Life, learn to live your life, learn to play around like a child, learn to jump around like a child, put on a good music and just dance, close your eyes and just dance, sing aloud, be with the nature and you will soon find out that the things don't matter. You can have best of the things like Buddha but remember that even Buddha renounced everything to find the happy good feeling.
So the happiness doesn't come from things. So please adjust yourself to this new found wisdom that things will not make me happy. Happiness is within me and I have to be with my true self to experience that.
