Founded and spearheaded by, Anandmurti Gurumaa, Shakti is a wake up call to combat the heinous practices of female infeaticide, infanticide and the brutalities afflicted on the girl child in India.
The mission of Shakti is to educate the girl child, by providing financial support, to help them become self reliant and self dependent; to help them realize their potential, and develop sense of self-respect, dignity and self-confidence.
