This is a beautiful rudraksha mala containing 108+1 beads of auspicious panchmukhi rudraksha (five faced rudraksha). The rudraksha mala can be worn around neck and can be used for practicing japa also.
Rudraksha is a holy bead known to mankind since last several thousand years for its beneficial properties. Rudraksha comes from two Sanskrit words ‘rudra’ and ‘aksha’. Rudra is a name of lord shiva and aksha means teardrops. The mythological puranas say that the first rudraksha tree came from a teardrop of lord Shiva. The meditating lord Shiva wears rudraksha malas and thus rudraksha holds special meanings to a meditator.
