Description
"Om" as Gurumaaji has explained many times, is not associated only with the
Hindu religion, but symbolizes the Omnipresent, Omnipotent Divinity. The
mesmerizing syllable 'Om'is not a product of man's imagination, it is ever
present, all pervading and can be felt within a seeker whose mind is
tranquil and free from all disturbance.
In this guided meditation album Gurumaaji leads the seeker into a magnificent atmosphere of
rishis and yogis in meditation. An ancient experience of silence in the
cacophony of modern day, the Om mantra meditation instantly calms a stressed out mind and
leads it towards bliss and joy. Pranav Dhyan begins with a prayer seeking
the blessings of the Almighty and sincerity of purpose, gradually leading
into a powerful chanting of 'OM'. This is followed by soft humming and
finally blissful silence. The album is backed with simple and soft music
which effectively helps a seeker move inwards. In conclusion is Gurumaaji's
bhajan, Jeevan ki ghadiyan birtha na kho , a clarion call, urging us not to
waste this precious human life and spend it fruitfully chanting the Name
Divine. This is an excellent japa meditation for beginners and a powerful way to enter into the world of silence.
