COLOURS OF HEALTH

The buzz word in the modern era of stressful living is to "Eat Your Colours and Be Healthy". Being healthy requires the intake of adequate amounts of nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Besides these the emphasis is on phytochemicals - the natural plant compounds which provide variety of health benefits. Many of the bright colours of fruits and vegetables come from phytochemicals.
