Sajda
Devotional Songs
Language: Hindi
Description
'Sajda' is an offering of love and devotion at the Lotus Feet of the Master.
'Na Sajda Karte The' talks of a seeker, who never bowed anywhere other than the mosque. He never bowed to saints for fear of them. But one fine day an enlightened master freed him from all ideas of sins, virtues, false pride and bestowed him with pure happiness and infinite contentment. The seeker's heart bows down with reverence for such a Master.
'Aesi Kari Gurudev Kripa' is an enlightening song which describes the unfailing grace of a Master. The Master shatters all myths and attachments of the disciple, separates him from all dogma and ideas of religion and attaches him to the 'One' Truth.
'Hari Hari Om' describes one whose heart is immersed in love of the divine and who is one with the entire existence. The mesmerizing 'Har Har Om' chant by Gurumaaji strike a chord deep down in the heart of the listener.
In the song 'Man Mast Hua', Kabir says that when the mind is filled with love, it doesn't wander around and when the mind doesn't wander, the seeker dives down within his own self. In this blissful experience he becomes speechless, what then can he say about himself?
'Jareh Jareh Mein Hai Jhanki' is the most festive song in this album where Gurumaaji beautifully describes how the Lord is present in every molecule of the universe and only one with the right vision understands it. She narrates a beautiful story of Sant Namdev who sees the Lord himself in the form of a dog running away with his bread! Meerabai is so steeped in her love for Lord Krishna, she sees the snake sent to kill her as none other than Lord Krishna himself.
