Founded in 1999 with the motto to educate and empower girls, Shakti today stands as a strong pillar of support for daughters of handicapped parents, widows, war martyrs and also those who belong to economically weaker section of the society. Every year shakti extends a helping hand to a certain number of such girls who are not able to pursue their studies due to lack of funds. During this year, Shakti has already supported education of 760 girls to complete their education till 12th standard. Now, we have 250 more girls who still await your support.
