The Compassionate Buddha
Most people would have probably heard the word ‘Buddha’, and again most would equate it to the prince Gautama Siddhartha, the founder of Buddhism. This ‘Buddha’ is well known to people from all parts of the world, given the large global following of Buddhism including the allied school of Zen Buddhism. However, the word ‘Buddha’ literally means ‘the enlightened one’. And moreover, we all have the potential of becoming a Buddha, or rather realising our Buddha nature.

Meet the Empowered Youngsters
They came. They learnt. They evolved. They went back empowered and ready to a healthy and happy life. Such was the invigorating Summer Youth Retreat, recently organized in the evolutionary ambience of Rishi Chaitanya Ashram for youngsters from the age group 14 yrs to 24 yrs.
This time, the retreat was rather special as it had in store a vast array of activities the youngsters could opt for. We labelled it - Great FUN is about to begin. Here, FUN is not as it is usually referred to; rather, it means Five days filled with Unique and New learning.

Shakti Felicitation Ceremony
Proud moments and cheerful smiles marked the felicitation ceremony of 31 meritorious girl students at Sanatan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School. They were felicitated with mementoes, awards of honour and cash prizes by Shakti. A cultural programme was also held on the occasion. On Sunday, 25th Oct all the shakti girls gathered to meet Gurumaa in Ashram, along with their mothers, to express their heartfelt feelings of receiving help from Shakti. On the occasion, Gurumaa assured the girls that their complete education will be sponsored by Shakti.
