Shakti in College Fest

In the month of February 2012, Shakti Team  was invited by Jesus & Mary College of Delhi University to participate in their annual fest, representing the cause of girls’ education. This commendable initiative was taken by a group of students who share the passion for empowering and educating underprivileged girls. They not only raised funds to contribute for the on-going campaign of Shakti to educate 750 girls, but also actively participated in making their teachers and fellow students aware about the achievements and aspirations of Shakti. Shakti T-shirts with new slogans, book, signature album, brochures, were few of the articles that were showcased on the Shakti stall that was put up on the occasion. It was indeed encouraging to witness the zeal and enthusiasm of these students in spreading the word around and motivating others to be part of the noble cause in their own unique way.
