Q: Where is meditation retreat organised?
A: In India, it is organised in Gurumaa Ashram in summers and in Rishikesh in winters and in abroad in the respective country. For timely updates of coming retreats, subscribe to our newsletters.

Q: Who can attend the meditation retreat?
A: Everyone is welcomed to participate in the meditation retreat. Just register yourself for the retreat online or by filling-in the form provided in the monthly magazine from Gurumaa Ashram, Rishi Amrit.

Q: What are the pre-requisites?
A: Heart filled with love, quest to seek the unknowable, courage to embark on the most adventurous journey of life beyond the dimensions of time and space…

Q: What is the duration of Meditation retreat?
A: Usually it is for five days. And the fragrance fills the lifetime.

Q: What are the charges?
A: Individual participation fee depends on the retreat and is published in the corresponding retreat page. The fee includes your lodging, accommodation and food. Your contribution is to facilitate your stay in Ashram during the shivir.

Q: How can I register?
A: You can register online and offline. See the corresponding retreat page for more details. To register offline, download the registration form and send the filled-in form along with the fee to Gurumaa Ashram, N.H. 1, Gannaur, Sonepat, Haryana or you can submit the form at your nearest Gurumaa Centre before the last day of submission.

Q: Where can I register?
A: You can register at Gurumaa Ashram or at your nearest Gurumaa Centre.

Q: Can I register on the spot?
A: Please note that no registrations are accepted on the spot. You have to send the filled-in registration form before the last day of entries to register for meditation retreat.

Retreat Activities
Meditation Retreat is a wonderful opportunity to escape from the worldly activities and here also you expect a certain set of activities… Well, give rest to your mind and let it engross in discovering its true nature. Dos and Don’ts of Retreat…

  • Do maintain all day silence during the meditation camp.
  • Do attend all the sessions in the meditation camp.
  • Wear a long white robe during the meditation camp. Fresh robes are available in Gurumaa Ashram.
  • Children below the age of 12 are not allowed in meditation camps.
  • Mobile phones are not allowed within the premises of ashram and during any session.
  • Cameras are not allowed during meditation and discourse sessions. Please don’t bring cameras with you.
  • Please carry your personal belongings, like utensils, a plate, a glass, a spoon and mosquito net in summers.
